Pepper Lunch: Mixed Reviews & Feedback Mechanism

I was introduced to Pepper Lunch last year and saw it open in Power Plant.  There was a long line and was intrigued by the menu and how food was served, plus how customers were seated.  I knew people were flocking to this establishment, not only for their food but also their service.

pepperlunch2It has been a bit more than a year since they opened their doors and now they have two more locations.  Have they been consistent with the level of service experienced by customers in Rockwell with their other branches?  Unfortunately, like any other establishment, it hasn’t been that exceptional as expected.

I’ve read some comments on several forums, some were happy, some weren’t. Some have said that the quality of the food in Alabang is not the same as Rockwell. Their Shangri-la location has also received mixed reviews from my colleagues and friends.  I also noticed that the employees don’t offer help customers on how they should prepare and eat their food.

On the bright side, despite of the inconsistencies, I like that they’ve put a mechanism in place to get feedback from their customers with different mediums.

  1. Feedback form in their establishments. This is found on every table in every establishment.  It’s very straight forward and simple, not taxing for a customer who dines in.  An email address is also found on the form, in case customers are interested in sending additional feedback.
  2. Pepper Blog. Providing loyal diners access to updates such as promos and value-added service such as Free WiFi is a great way to communicate with customers.  I particularly like the poll they’ve added to identify where they should open their next branch. Lastly, all reviews from different websites and blogs are also included in the list.  I’ve looked at most of them but seems like it’s mostly about the quality of food and not entirely about the service.
  3. Email address (customercare@pepperlunch.com.ph). It’s nice to know that there is an open line for customers to give their feedback.  I’d like to know though if customers did get a response from them within 48 hours.

So, if you’ve dined in Pepper Lunch recently, any comments on their service, both good and bad will be appreciated.  Let’s help them get better and I’m offering this blog to be an addition to their current feedback mechanism.

Now where is that Sesame Chicken Shake salad…aaaah, there it is! Yum! *shake* *shake* *shake

Sorry, we don’t subscribe to the idea of unnecessarily falling in an artificial line before being served unless it is your typical soup kitchen where the food is free.

Sorry, comments are closed.
