JP: Same here. I even had to get a static IP address so I can get a dedicated share IP so I don't have to share the bandwidth with other subscribers (since this is allocated with x amount of people in the area).

Their maintenance schedule is done often and I have to call every single time for them to fix it. I've had several technical teams come over and finally got an answer when I demanded to speak to a technical person and not customer service. So far, everything is stable and I'm getting the speed I am paying for (well...almost).

P.S. They used to point the finger at me that it was my router that was the problem. Don't fall into that trap. I did and had to buy a new one which made me realize it wasn't my router's problem after all.

i've been a PLDT subscriber in the past, and switched to skybroadband when i transferred to another part of MM. sky is FAST, but it is UNRELIABLE. Recently, (1 month ago), they did a system reset in our place, and since then I could not set-up my wireless router to connect with their modem, this after spending P2T the previous month to an IT guy to set it up.
When you call sky, they say they did not change their system architecture, and that they cannot comment on the router issue (their responsibility is to bring the signal to the modem, and if i can connect to the modem by cable, then they have no other obligation). Anyone have similar issues with SkyBroadband?

Jonathan - it's a residential plan. They don't offer corporate accounts as of yet as they stated.

Chen - thanks. 20K is really steep as of now. I would want to have something that is more flexible though for events that need a leased line. This would mean renting it only during the event.
