The AyosDito.ph Seller Experience

I continuously look for websites that will help spread the word about our company and like any other entrepreneur, I seek for free ad placement services online first.  One free classified ads site that I’ve come across is AyosDito.ph.

The site was very simple and it didn’t look cluttered like most classified ads site I’ve come across in the past.  No screaming ads trying to beg for your attention at first glance.  Pretty good so far.   The first few things I looked at were ads within NCR.  I noticed there were a lot of entries on used cars, real estate and electronics.  The layout was pretty simple and the search bar was very helpful.  What I liked were the three tabs on top that gave a user an option to browse ads submitted by individuals and companies.

Since my objective was to place an ad for our three services, I searched for ads under the Services category and moved straight to the Company tab.  I was comparing these companies were showcasing their products.  I’ve noticed that the ads were listed based on the time it was submitted.  I thought, “This only gives me a few days, maybe even just hours before our ad is buried under a lot of new ads. It has to be a bit different to make it count.”

I read the rules and went on to post an ad about our latest product, Virtual Arena. The whole process was very simple. Clicking on the “Post an ad” link was all to it.  But, being a perfectionist, I wanted to make sure I get it right the first time. I immediately clicked on the customer service button to read the FAQs and looked for a phone number to call. Unfortunately there wasn’t any except for a contact form.  I was lucky to have acquired their number from someone who works at the company.

To make the long story short, the staff member was very helpful and patient to answer all my questions. Every piece of information was accurate and I was a very happy customer. Overall, the process of posting an ad just took me 5 minutes, considering all the content was ready to go. Including a password for the ad was a good idea in case I need to edit or delete the ad at any point. I waited for the confirmation from the email and in less than 30 minutes, the ad has been published.

I would like to take note that I told Jenny (staff who helped) about the phone number missing from the website and she didn’t give any excuses and told me she was going to suggest it to management.  Great job Jenny!

I intend to post more ads both for my company and as an individual with regards to my consultancy jobs in the future because of this experience.

If by any chance you try their service and need to contact them through phone, their hotline is 63.2.7522967. Let me know if you had the same experience or otherwise.  I’d love to hear your comments.

Hi G-Boie. The number includes the country (63) and area code (2). If you’re located in Manila, you can just ignore the first 3 numbers and start with 7. Sorry for the confusion. Hope this helps.

Ms. JMF, are all ads on used cars in AYOSDITO reliable?.. I planning to buy my first car with a budget of P60k-P70k.. I’ve seen ads in AYOSDITO na kayang i-meet ng budget ko pero ang problema kulang ang contact info. ang ibinibigay ng seller.. Or worst, nothing at all.. Should i consider him/her a scammer?.. What should be the basis for me to know kung ang isang ad on used cars ay bogus o hindi?.. Sana matulungan mo po uli ako.. It’s really a lifelong dream to have my first car eventhough it is just a 2nd-hand one.. Thanks in advance po uli…

No problem. But, please take note that I can’t answer all their questions since I’m not part of their company. I’ll do my best though.

Based on my sources, the company makes sure that the supplier or seller is legitimate since they ask for documents first before the ad is uploaded to their website. This is their way of making their customers feel secured. But, having said that I suggest that you call the AYOS DITO staff first to confirm whether the seller is legitimate. The contact information is limited based on their process. Click on the “contact advertiser” to get more of their contact information if it’s incomplete or unavailable.

I also suggest that you meet up with the advertiser first and talk to him about the terms before sending any money. Buying a car means you need papers and do a test drive before purchasing it. Mabuti nang sigurado.

Good luck in your purchase!

Dinky – I recommend that you call AyosDito’s hotline number. You can find that within this post. Give them the seller’s ad(link) and details. Remember to ask for a solution from them as well so that you know that they are doing something about it. Usually, if a seller is a scammer, the website owner will remove the account and advertisement. Remember to give them the full details as to why you think the seller isn’t honest. Let me know how it goes.

Hi Jaeson. Di na kailangan mag log in. Punta ka sa ad mo and sa itaas meron kang makikita na “DELETE” link. Click mo ito at tatanungin ang password mo. Ito yung nakuha mo nung nag post ka ng ad. Sana nakatulong ito.

[Hi Jaeson. You don't need to log in. Go to the page of your published ad and at the top, you'll see a "DELETE" link. Click on this and it will ask for your password. This password was given/nominated when you posted your ad. Hope this helps.]

I’m so depressed right now. I think I’ve been played. But the seller was really convincing that she was selling the phone. She even said she was pregnant and she also knows how it feels to be scammed. I put my trust in her and yet now i still am not receiving the merchandise and already paid it in full. I tried calling her number but it said that the call is not permitted. She’s not answering any of my texts and her “husband” said that she was on premature labor and even asked me to pray for her wife. I don’t know what to feel anymore. That money, it’s my mom’s and I just… I can’t stop crying right now T___T

Cherry – I know how it feels when you have no clue as to what is to be done next due to your current situation. Let me help you as much as I can. May I suggest that you call the Ayos Dito PH hotline and mention the seller, the exact link of the ad, and other important details. They should have a copy of a record of the seller that authenticates their status. This is one of the guarantees of Ayos Dito PH. Let me know how they respond.

Yonald – if my memory serves me right, you need to resend or create another ad if you want to edit. You can only delete through logging into your profile when you are on your ad page. Do call their hotline as the process might have changed since I last wrote this post. Hope this helps.

Here’s an update: You can access their FAQs on their Facebook page – https://www.facebook.com/AyosDito.ph?sk=app_7146470109. Apparently you can’t edit the ad. You have to delete and create a new one.
