A quick scan of my Facebook news feed brought my attention to a post about a web application called Taxikick. It is simply a tool where anyone can submit their complaint on abusive taxi drivers.

If you live within Metro Manila, you know how frustrating and disappointing it is to get a cab, especially during rush hours. What’s more infuriating are the people who drive them. It’s very rare that someone tells me a good story when they ride a cab.

Today I had to take a cab going to a meeting since the car was unavailable. In as much as I would like to pick the newest cab, you just can’t pick when you are rushing to a meeting and not know whether you’ll get an available one in the next few minutes. I would normally lower my expectations when taking a cab due to previous experience but this is against everything I believe in when it comes to customer service.
